Pastor Derek is originally from Lawrenceburg, Ky, and has been on staff at Hillvue since 2010. Derek originally served as an intern in the Student Ministry and is now the Senior High Pastor.
Derek graduated from Anderson County High School, and moved to Bowling Green to attend Western Kentucky University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, and majored in both Psychology and Religious Studies. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Derek has been married to his wife, Brooke, since December of 2012.
