Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Don't go through separation or divorce alone.

DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You'll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

You don't have to go through it alone

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they've ever faced. It's a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you've never faced before.

Our DivorceCare groups meet weekly on Monday nights at 6:30pm to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each DivorceCare session has two distinct elements:

A Seminar with Experts

During the first 30-40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies and on-location video.

A Support Group with Focus

After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week's video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

Seminar Topics

Your DivorceCare experience begins each week as your group watches a video seminar on DVD. The DivorceCare videos cover topics essential to your recovery from the hurt of separation or divorce. Here is a list of the weekly topics:

Children meet other kids who understand how they feel

Children experiencing divorce tell us they feel alone and helpless. Your children may feel scared, sad, and confused. They may hide their feelings from you because they are worried about your happiness or because they do not know how to express their feelings appropriately.

What is DC4K?

DC4K is a special group to help your children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce. DC4K provides your children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings. For 13 weeks your children become involved in a fun, caring group. The weekly sessions help your children learn that God's love strengthens them and helps them turn their sadness to hope and their anger to joy.

Each session is filled with motivating and exciting activities. Games, crafts, role playing, discussion times, journaling, and Activity Books help your children process the divorce and move forward in their lives. The music CDs, snacks, read aloud stories, exercises, and Bible verses teach your children to relax and rest secure in God's love. The Kids Like Me and Stories from the Bible video dramas present stories of children just like your children, who are experiencing divorce-related problems and have found help and encouragement. DC4K is a powerful ministry for kids 5-12 years of age.

Children look forward to each time their "DC4K family" gets together. Your children can be part of a DC4K family. Start your children on the road to healing today!

Children come to DC4K excited to connect with their newfound friends. Each session is filled with engaging activities that center around a weekly theme. These topics correlate with those discussed in the adult DivorceCare sessions. When you and your children are learning about similar topics each week, you create many opportunities to bond and enrich your family.
